School taught me equations, essays and exam technique. It did not teach me how to negotiate a salary, hold my ground in a boardroom, recover from public rejection, or build a life when the plan stopped working.

I learned those things the hard way: through migration, reinvention, failed launches, and the slow work of rebuilding confidence from the inside out. Somewhere between the spreadsheets and the setbacks, I started calling that missing syllabus the hidden curriculum.

I graduated as an economist, then spent years doing the work most people never see: teaching, accounting, running a fashion boutique, and building a career in tech. I have delivered digital transformation for governments, shaped new innovation projects like Samsung's connected car programme, and worked at the edge of agentic AI and behavioural analytics long before they became headlines.

That path took me through consulting, startups, and my own ventures. It also took me through failure sharp enough to matter: a moment where I had followed the system, done everything right, and still came close to losing everything. I rebuilt from that. The lesson was not that the system was wrong; it was that the system is incomplete.

Today I operate, advise, write and speak from that intersection: the credentials of someone who has worked inside institutions, and the scars of someone who has built things from scratch.
